Moana Lanui is a beach front Hawaiian property. As you exit the back door onto the large patio deck, its probably 20 paces to the end of the backyard property onto the sandy
beach!

IS THE BEACH NORMALLY SAFE FOR SWIMMING AND FAMILY ACTIVITIES?
Punaluu Beach is generally surrounded by reef (about a ¼ to ½ mile out). This means that the surf is generally moderate and great for family fun (surfing is recommended up
the coast).
WHAT’S THE WEATHER GENERALLY LIKE?
The temperature range throughout the year is between 82 to 85 degrees on Oahu ( 74 to 90 degrees in rare cases)
The Windward side of the island (where Moana Lanui is located) generally will capture more moisture than at Honolulu. It’s nice to have the option that if it sprinkles on the
Windward side of the island, you can most of the time drive to Honolulu and the weather will be sunny and warm.

Due to the high demand, oceanfront location, and general area of interest, we cannot offer a group rate, last-minute deal, or discounted rate. By this, we are allowed to keep
are current rate consistent (not having to raise our rate over time).
WHAT ARE THE LOCAL ATTRACTIONS?
Other than having the 'Beach' as your backyard, The Polynesian Cultural Center is about 5 to 10 minutes North, North Shore (Hale'Iwa) and it's surrounding shops is about 20
minutes, Kualoa Ranch (horseback riding, ATV, etc.) is about 10 minutes South, there is a Macadamia nut farm and few orchid farms just 10 minutes South, and many other
attractions that we will inform you of when you arrive.
WHAT ARE THE LOCAL RESOURCES REGARDING FOOD, GAS, ETC.
There's a local eatery just 5 minutes North called ' Papa Ole's' and a local grocery store at the same shopping center. Just another 5 minutes farther North is a regular fast
food chain 'Golden Arches' as well as a Chevron located at the Polynesian Cultural Center. You have Hauula and La'ie (both reasonable size towns) within minutes of the
home.
